How to play Naval Theater
Movement in Naval Theater is done through the use of Movement Templates. Simply line the template you want to use up with the ship's forward funnel, move her to the opposite end, and you're done!
Shooting is performed at Short, Medium, Long, or Extreme Range. Most ships can only dream of firing at Extreme Range, it's reserved for the Battleships with their big guns. Measure your Range, check your firing arc with the template, and roll that number of 8-sided dice (d8s) to see if you hit!
At the end of the turn, your ships might run away if they take enough damage. Some will stick around longer than others, so it depends on their individual Morale rating. This is also when you can try to Repair some Critical damage. But not all of it can be repaired!
Aircraft follow most of the same rules as Ships, but move faster and in any direction. However, they also attack from much closer ranges, and can be stopped from attacking if they take enough damage.
